This is the Main Page and is titled:
"The Courtyard"
This is just a VERY rough draft/editing of this page and will be amended, added to, many times in the future.

1.) - The Courtyard shall focus around all the important happenings and topics, both of interest and importance to/for members to be aware of and hopefully will be a part of.

2.) - This site is meant to be enjoyable by and for all that join. Here we can indulge our dreams and fantasies through our art and writing. Please keep in mind, however, to keep these, pornographic, racist, etc., free. (There will be a better explanation added here as well as on theLand O' Castles: Rulezpage and please also give your feedback in regards to what should or shouldn't be accepted here on the Land O' Castles.)

: Be forewarned, however. I,Artsie_ladie, like to keep things as non-offensive to as many as possible, respecting all cultures, customs, beliefs, etc., as much as possible AND content that would be even a little questionable for a child's viewing, but not necessarily something totally objectionable, we shall have to discuss to decide just how such shall be permitted, perhaps with a warning of some sort (as one idea). One example would be "artistic nudity". ...And content must always stay within Wet Paint Central's Rules for site's within the Wet Paint Domain.

3.) - Everyone is to be 'civil' with one another and respectful of others' opinions, beliefs, ideas, dreams, fantasies, etc.. Absolute agreement is not necessary, but respectfulness is.

4.) -ALL NEW MEMBERS MUST READ!Please see and read a more complete list of rules and guidelines at: Land O' Castles: Rulez.
- The rules are being worked on presently.
- Any questions, please just ask.
- Once read, please acknowledge you have in the comment section.
- Please watch this page for any changes and amendments that may be made.
Note: There is a place at the bottom of every page for discussion, comments, and questions. 'Of course, messages can be sent to the site moderators as well.
The current site moderators are:Artsie_ladie and Simpet.

5.) - This site has been opened up so anyone can join.

These are the current settings:

Everyone can view our website, but only writers can edit or add pages.
- There are no anonymous edits allowed. Only writers can add or edit pages on our site.- This setting is best because we want to limit contributions to those that are writers and site moderators. Members that join and show interest to make the site better and want to contribute may be promoted to writers. The moderators will make decisions in this regard, as well as in regards to demoting, should this become necessary, which we are quite positive such will not be in most instances.
Anyone who joins our site can post threads.
- Even thoughwriterscan edit content and add pages, we can also determine separately who can post threads. As long as everyone adheres to the above number #3, we see no problem with everyone being able to do so.- Each member shall be accountable for the threads they post to our site.

6.) -
We encourage EVERY member to take part in discussions, as we also encourage everyone to speak about your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and views. This includes aspects about our site that could use some modification or change. But please also keep in mind that the rules of Wet Paint Central that also apply to Wet Paint Sites, such as this one, have to be followed with anything we decide upon, as well as Wet Paint's Terms of Service and Code of Conduct in regards to wikis.

7.) - Although not everyone can become a moderator, for it is said too many cooks will spoil the broth, we would like to have as many of our members promoted to "writers" as possible, because the more that contribute, the better our site will be!

8.) - IMPORTANT: There is a limited file space that is allowed.
- Therefore, it IS NECESSARY to limit the amount of attachments being uploaded to our site.
- If we reach our quota, then files will therefore have to be deleted before any more can be uploaded here. If we reach the point of having awards awarded (See: Suggestions page), these images shall take precedence, because we would want them uploaded to our site, so they are always visible here.
- To get around this dilemma, most files, particularly and most often, images, shall have to be placed here from another site you have your files hosted on. A few examples of another site: Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and hopefully, a more extensive list shall be posted, as more members contribute to this information.

9.) -Fromthe "Suggestions' Page":
- As this wiki page's title indicates, this is the page on which will be listed and kept track of, all suggestions made and by whom.
- If I,*Artsie_ladie*, implement them, it doesn't necessarily mean they are "etched in stone". It simply means that a suggestion or suggestions needed or thought best to be implemented, because decisions simply can't be left on hold waiting for everyone's input. Most, I believe, will be able to be amended, adjusted, or changed, through discussion by the members of our community. Artsie is fully aware of the fact and understands,it's going to take a little while for new members to get their bearings here, But in the meanwhile, certain decisions have to be made until they can be discussed further by the community.

- As the site's creator, however, I may have to make decisions that "I" feel will be the best for this community AND that "I" consider certain content or otherwise, to be inappropriate. I am a pretty open-minded person for the most part, so I doubt there will be anything much that I won't take into account as to the regards to the viewpoints of others. I hope to add to my profile the things I do not compromise about.
-Please watch this page to keep abreast of what is being implemented and decided upon AND to play an active role in our site's decision making. Also, suggestions may or may not become rules. Therefore, another reason to keep this page on watch. It is the responsibility of all members to keep themselves abreast of the rules and to ask questions if and when they don't understand any of them. Please, NO excuses!


Note: Please remember...everyone's feedback matters here on:Land O' Castles: Fantasy & Dreams, which means everyone's opinions are valued, even if they aren't always followed as may be wished for.

10.) -For current suggestions Artsie_ladie has already implemented (because decisions had to be made, at least for now) and for future implementations, there will be a sub-page: "LOC: Suggestions-OK'd".

11.) - For suggestions that have been rejected for various possible reasons, these will be placed on the sub-page: "LOC: Suggestions-X'd".

12.) - For suggestions that have reached an impasse of sorts in regards to a decision one way or another, these will be placed on the sub-page of: "LOC: Suggestions-Tabled".

Note:When these sub-pages are up (as with others), they will become clickable links and will also be listed in the left hand column, accessible on every page.

13.) - This page, The Courtyard, has a great deal of information posted on it presently. However, the information will be placed on the applicable pages and only the links to such shall be posted here, so this, thee main page of our site, can focus more around the activities of our members, hopefully honours and awards of our members, and other pertinent and interesting topics.

14.) - Please also, let it be known how well or not the modules are showing up and/or working for everyone. Artsie would like to know, so I can know if we can make more uses of them -or- not.

16.) - Please vote in the poll, so we can focus on things that are difficult to understand as to how something is done and hopefully, clear up any confusion(s), including my own, for there is much to learn here on how to do many things. As with most everything here, discussions are most welcome, so we all may learn.

17.) - If Artsie has forgotten to mention a topic here, please, don't hesitate to say, because basically, I'm just jotting down here, what is coming to my mind at this time.

18.) - Just an idea of Artsie's:
- a.) I think it might be kinda' cool, if we, the members, made our own castle (castle page) or even castles as in plural. It would be nice if the titles depicted that it/they belonged to you, but I wouldn't want to make this mandatory to keep 'absolutes' to a minimum. We do want freedom of expression encouraged and incorporated as much as possible. For example though: "Artsie's Castle" (simple title) or maybe "Artsie's Rainbow Castle" (a little more elaborate title).
- b.) ..And we can or could 'expand' on our castles with adding on our rooms, our gardens, our forests, and many other possibilities as 'sub-pages of our castle pages.



Note from the editor - Artsie_ladie:
- I use most often the browsers: Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome, with an occasional usage of Internet Explorer. From my experience with using WetPaint's page editor, there is limited functionality with Opera and Chrome, with Firefox working the best.. so far. I haven't tried with IE as of yet.

Ok.. Is working on the Home-page. I'm thinking widgets to show "newest members", "recent site activity", a "community poll", "latest photos" for starters. A brief introductory that describes what this site is about and I would like to add or have a "featured member", "featured page", "featured album"... to name a few ideas. I think something to be given as an award for each of these will be nice? ...And if these awards could be displayed in the member's profile would be a part of this goal. I'm not quite sure how though. Perhaps, with a widget that could be specifically designed to show each member's awards? Hmm... any thoughts anyone? About this, or other? :)

I think.. it sounds like a good idea. But I always agree with you. xD We think alike. ;o)
A brief "welcome + description" is a must I fink and should be added asap.

Btw.. is the site supposed to be a big blue box, or is my Firefox not displaying it correctly? o.o
